Welcome to the Wine Smith

The Wine Smith is a shop for everyone who loves good wine and beer Located in Historic Downtown Placerville, right in the middle of El Dorado Wine Country. it makes sense that the owners Kay and Al de Lange have a passion for the wines of the foothill region.

They invite you to come in to the shop, have a glass of wine or one of the eight beers on tap, and browse through the wine and gift selection for some favorites to take home.

Kay has chosen what she feels are outstanding wines from El Dorado, Amador, and Nevada Counties and is happy to share her knowledge of these wines with you.
